Types of Tile
When it comes to choosing tile, you have three main options including stone, porcelain, and ceramic. Ceramic and porcelain are the two most popular options for flooring and are relatively similar in style and color options, but porcelain is denser, and more slip and stain resistant. Porcelain can be placed in areas with a lot of moisture like bathrooms and laundry rooms. You can get both ceramic and porcelain tile in traditional looks as well as wood look. We also have stone tile, which when sealed in water resistant and stain resistant.
Tile comes in other options as well such as wall tile and backsplash tile. These tiles are usually smaller in size, lighter, and adhere better to a wall than floor tile would. Wall tile and backsplash tile are available in glass, metal, and mosaic tiles.
Where Can Tile Be Installed?
As we mentioned before, tile is a very versatile product and can be installed in several places in your home. Not only can you install tile on the floors of your kitchen, bathroom, or basement, you can also have tile installed outside of your home, and on the walls of your home.
Wall tile and backsplash tile are specialized options we offer. Backsplash and wall tile is unique and creates a focal point on your wall, they also break up long boring walls, and offer protection from accidental food splatter in kitchens.
